It’s hard to believe that LG’s Google TVs are selling very well. Not that their Google TVs aren’t good, in fact, they are actually among the best. They are also among the most expensive, though, with their cheapest Google TV model currently holding an $849 price tag.

Just how many people are buying these units? LG is currently selling over 10,000 Google TV devices per month… WOW! That is much more than we expected for such an expensive Google TV lineup. Granted, these HDTVs are great on their own, so they would probably sell well even without Google TV.

LG’s Google TV units have shown such success in the US that the manufacturer is considering expanding to other markets. Korea would be the first to see LG’s Google TV devices outside the US, followed by China. These countries will get Google’s experience via a set-top box, though, which seems odd coming from LG.
