Is Lenovo Getting Ready To Release a Google TV Powered Smart Television?
Lenovo has been making quite a showing today in China with the release of a new line of Android powered handsets and tablets and according to ComputerWorld, the company make take the dive into the Google TV market.
While, Google TV wasn’t specifically mentioned, they did say that they plan to launch a “smart TV” sometime during the first quarter of 2012. Lenovo plans to call the line “ideatv” and its focus on content sharing between their brand new Android powered smartphones and tablets makes Google TV the perfect fit.
Having secured the #2 spot for largest PC vendor right behind HP, the company may be looking to branch out from computers, smartphones and tablet devices. I say, the more Google TV powered televisions, the better.
