Speaking at LE Web, a tech conference in Paris France, Google’s Chief Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt made a rather bold statement regarding the future of Google TV. According to Schmidt, he expects to see most televisions embedded with the Google TV platform by the summer of 2012. Is this simply wishful thinking on his part? Or could Mr. Schmidt know something we don’t? Samsung is seemingly dominating the television market and there are rumors saying not only Samsung — but LG too, could be showing off some of their own Google TV television sets at CES 2012. Let’s hope things fare better this time around.
